Treating blastocystis an holistic approach
Blastocystis is generally considered to be a weak parasite. It
attacks those people who have a weakened immune system or a very
weakened digestive tract. Blastocystis Hominis are Blastocystis causing infection in humans.
Symptoms
Abdominal pain and diarrhea, nausea or vomiting, increased or decreased appetite, gas or bloating, dysentery (loose stools containing blood and mucus), sneezing, coughing, fever, headache, a rash or itching around the rectum or vulva, tiredness, weight loss, bed wetting in children and passing worms in your stool.
A person who is affected can experience any range of these symptoms, however complications happen more often and more severely in older people, children and in people who already have serious illnesses, such as AIDS.
Ayurveda view
In Ayurveda parasites are called ‘Krimi’ .
Parasites classified into three types:
Kaphaj - related to mucous and live in the stomach)
Purishaj -related to feces and exist mainly in the large intestine)
Raktaj - which circulate in the blood
Blastocystis falls under Kaphaj .
One of the most important things to realize is that parasites are far more likely to set up residence and cause a problem if the environment in our gut is appealing to them. From an Ayurvedic point of view this means that the digestive fire (Agni) should be balanced and strong and the body free of undigested food waste (Ama). A system that is polluted with Ama is the perfect breeding ground for parasites and once they are established, their presence will perpetuate this situation.

It's been found that many people who have this organism have many
different kinds of digestive complaints--allergies, immune system
difficulties, skin problems, and bowel problems.
Mental :
Lots of stress and insecurity.
Energetic:
Solar plexus is the 3rd chakra responsible fir element fire and responsible for digestion.
Beings with excessive third chakra energy react to life circumstances, they have emotional outbursts and are often stressed out.
Beings with blocked or deficient third chakra are passive and inactive - allowing life to pass by while they do nothing.
Balancing this chakra should help you support the digestive system. Look for healing methods.
Strong third chakra reflects the ability to move forward in life with confidence and power. It reflects the ability to make conscious choices to choose and to act.
Food taste to include :
Bitter,Sour taste is responsible for the element fire and stimulates with the organs Heart,Pericardium,Small intestine,Triple warmer,Tongue.
Emotion:
The emotion linked to it is Contentment.
We must accept the things we have and be Content of it.
Yoga Asana :
Warrior I pose ,Warrior II , Bow pose. Can be practiced.
Diet:
Include a diet that is free from red meat, cheese and yoghurt, sweets, refined foods and refined flour.
Bitter foods such as bitter melon are excellent deterrents for parasites and natural vermifuges should be used in cooking such as garlic, hing (asafoetida), turmeric, ajwain, cumin and coriander.
Home Remedies:
Excellent home remedies for worms include:
• 1 tbsp Crushed Pumpkin seeds on an empty stomach before breakfast
• 1 tsp Crushed Papaya seed with honey on an empty stomach before breakfast
• 1 tsp Jaggery, 1 tsp Ajwain and ½tsp Castor oil rolled into a ball and taken at bedtime once per week.

Grounding myself by growing a rose plant
Often we get lost in our thoughts and rush of the life. We seize to enjoy the present and missing living life.It takes quite a while for us to really figure out that we are lost. I have known that the plants have feelings and it responds to the mood around the people it surrounds. In my new house in don't have a garden so i bought a rose plant with a pot and keep near my bed. Well the roses are pink , i had a choice of getting a white one but chose pink as it had a female touch ( compassion and beauty ). This is an almost the way to practice your unconditional love. Your expectation are very less and minimal. Its also makes you a bit responsible. Now i have to take care of it , water it and speak to it. Its a reflection of my well being. If i am lost the rose loses it care taker and begins to deteriorate. Its is very visible to us indeed and we are aware that we are not normal and have ignored myself. The rose is just a sensitive part of me that i cannot suppress or over see. Its give me soothing effect in heart and helps me ground to this world.

Knowing how much you can eat and saying no to excess food
It was always a difficult task for me to judge how much i can eat. Due to this while eating i take food in small increments. For many years i have had troubles eating this way. I used to start eating fast and then it slows down and the slowest is when i am not able to eat any more but some food is left in my plate.
It was hard for me to say no when people out of love/concern serve excessive food as i was lean.
Then my friend helped me saying "No" and not to feel embarrassed about it. Also not to worry if food is left in my plate. If you can't eat just stop eating. This step helped me a lot. I was more comfortable while eating as i did not have to finish the entire plate.
Just a year before i had a watched a video about eating habits. In it they described that it good to eat when you are full of hunger rather the just eating on time even thought you don't feel hungry. Many of us may have even forgotten how it feels like to be hungry. Also another key thought that at you first burp while eating you can stop eating. The burp indicates the opening of the stomach to large intestine and the food is on the way to next processing. Usually we over eat and burden our stomach. Due to this our stomach gets weak and also we don't get enough nutrition and energy. Basically this lowers your
efficiency of conversion of food into energy.
So if you are not sure how much you should eat stop at the first burp. Offcouse some times food is so delicious you want to eat upto you neck . Occationally this is fine.Over practive you will know how much you can consume so it digests at great efficiency and live healthy.
You do not have to believe any this of this. You can just try and feel the difference.

Ego or True self

There is this inner voice that is continuously steering us. Some say that you need to follow the inner voice to succeed. But often we are misled as this voice is distorted by the noise by the ego. Some time the inner instinct or the true self as some call it is never heard. If you want to be more non judgmental,non attached and blissful you can listen to your inner voice. There are few ways to identify and instinct from the ego.
Ego is the survival instinct. Its is formed basically how others think of you. Is is the cause of the preservation of identity. Ego feeds on anxiety ,fear, jealous ,judgement, attachment and resistance. You need to take control over you ego to avoid the state of being helpless.

You cannot fight the ego. You can just be aware of your ego. Once aware it just starts to fade.You need to practice stillness of you mind.Let go, be separate, fight to be superior as these are all ego.Ego feed of need and focus of lack. It convinces you are not enough. Your achievements and the mistakes are just experiences Learn to be in the present. Ego is usually the future or the past.Be mindful of what you are doing.This will make you more happy and content.

Oil bath - benefits
Why?
Gingely oil on applied on skin fecilitates the production of pro vitamin D.
Following is the transformation path of the Provitamin D:
Provitamin D( Type: cholesterol) produced by skin when exposed to UV rays
Previtamin D3 on further exposure
Vitamin D in warm
Calcediol in liver
Calcetrio hormone in kidney(major part in calcium metabolism and an anti-cancer agent).
If enough vitamin d is produced the even a glass of milk a day is enought for strengthening bones( can avoid the supplements for it ) .
When not to?
Oil bath basically makes you body cool and hence logically is better to avoid oil bath on the following days as our body already becomes cool :

Settling in life redefined
What do we need in life really? Most of us think its money that we need. But actually why we really need it? We need to be "Happy" by fulfilling our desires and as most of our desires are materialistic we go after money which can earn them. In a long run we forget what we really want and go blindly after money or the job we pursue.
The point is "Everyone wants to be happy and want it indefinitely no matter what happens". This is the actual state in life where you cal yourself settled. But now we use the term for various states like "Got married" ,"Bought house( Even if he is a debtor for 30 year )" ,"Bought a car" and so on. But if we analyse clearly all these spoil our happiness and make us more fragile.
Then how can i settle ?
To be settled is to be in happy regardless of what happens around us.This state is an state of mind and any imbalance can be corrected only by mind. First this must be understood. Currently happiness is a effect of actions and this has to be the other way around. We must stay happy and do things out of this happiness.
Sounds simple ? Nooooooo. This is the ultimate state. We must cross various phases to come here.
Her are the stages this could work .
Phase 1 : Realize what you really want in life and observe what are the situations in which you are not happy and identify the cause. Here things will happen around you , you will conceive the things, react emotionally and act.
Phase 2 : Be aware of your emotions and actions. Try to be happy regard less of your actions.
Here things will happen around you , you will conceive the things, react emotionally and but don't act if it may not cause happiness.
Phase 3 : Here things will happen around you , you will conceive the things, react won't emotionally( in a negative way) and don't act if it may not cause happiness.
At the end of phase 1 you should start living a simple life and declutter your life so the things that affect you are minimized. Also analyse you body and see what are the problems you have and correct it by natural means. At start of phase 2 you can start meditating clear you mind for all the prejudices.
These are not guidelines just one of the what it could possible work. The ultimate goal is happiness.

A day without spectacles
I have a short sight with a power of 4+ . I would be always with glasses so i was very much dependent on the same. Through lots of reading i came across that our eye cell do regenerate in specified span of time. So if the eye had become defective due to deficiency and over stress then during a period of time if we supply nutrition and avoid stressing of the eye and believe that t the eye has a capability of healing itself there is a possibility that it could be cured. Now i wanted to check how dependent i was no my spects. Also its that we use two aspects in creating vision sense +imagination . If our eye i poor u have do the imagination more.
Yesterday i conducted the test. The mission was to not use the spects through out the day and manage to visit a place near by ( a place i have not visited).. Morning i did the cooking and all my work without glasses. This was bit east as i did not need to read much o the test. I checked my mails in the iPod and my laptop screen was a bit blurred. Then i started out my journey in a world. I began to notice that all the signs and the boards was a bit blurred and i was able to enjoy the sun and the nature. The signals lights were clear and ( must have been designed that way .And i went to the station. Now i bought my tickets and searched for the train. The display board was hard to see. It was tempting to wear my glasses and but i was determined not wear it. Then i when to the information center and asked about the train details and they guided me to the plat form. I wanted to cross check with the display at the platform but the board was a blurred but i was able to recognize the words.
I was re collection the sight that was happening during my journey to the station. All the things , the people, all were blurred and the distraction was less. I had to process less so saved energy energy.The trains stops were marked with large boards so a was able to read and u maintained the stop count. Finally i reached the stop and got to the tram. My stop was the last so need not count the stops now. The train halted at the last stop and i used the maps in the phone yo find the way. I enjoyed the company of my friends there and returned home. Then i went to the super market. It was nice. I just bought what i really wanted and others were just blurred and i did not over shop ;). The the day successfully ended without my spects ;)
Its was so nice to see that how my eye adopted to the situation actually most of the time the spect is not required and can be avoided. I staring to have the habit to not wear the spects for long time. Will see of my eye is able to heal it self .I tried to type the whole write up without spects and i managed it :D ( Had to stare closer at teh scree for corrections) .
